Feasibility review

Seventy-five minutes on video, then a written report answering one question: does your plan to move to French Polynesia hold up, and on what terms? Including when the answer is no.

The principle

An opinion, not encouragement

Most of what you will read about French Polynesia is written by people whose income rises when you come — and usually from ten thousand kilometres away. I live here, and I earn the same amount whether I say yes or no. That is the whole point of paying for the review.

We start from your situation

Your income, your clients, your status, your family, your horizon. No generic answer: the same figures mean different things for a salaried developer working remotely and a freelancer with three children.

We check the four load-bearing walls

The time difference against your actual clients, the connection at the address you have in mind, the real cost of arriving, and status — residence, right to work, tax and social cover, which do not follow from one another.

You leave with a verdict

Workable now, workable in eighteen months on these conditions, or not workable. All three answers happen, and the third is the one that saves you the most.

How it runs

In order

  1. 1. Free 20-minute qualification call. If your plan is not ready, I say so and the review does not happen.
  2. 2. You receive a questionnaire. Filling it in properly doubles the value of the hour that follows.
  3. 3. Seventy-five minutes on video, recorded if you want it.
  4. 4. Within seven days, you receive the written report.
  5. 5. Fifteen days later I follow up once by email for anything still open.

Deliverable

What the report contains

SectionWhat you find there
VerdictThe answer, argued, on page one. Not buried in a conclusion.
Time-zone realityYour typical week rebuilt in local time, against your real clients.
Cost of arrivingLine by line, with the figures I observe here and the date each was checked.
Suitable islandsTwo or three candidates ranked against your criteria, with the case against each.
Realistic timelineWhat to do, in what order, and how many months to allow.
BlockersWhat in your specific situation could sink the plan. The most useful section.
What the report is not

It is not legal, tax or medical advice, and it guarantees no outcome. It is the analysis of a professional who lives here, based on what you tell me and what I observe on the ground. Anything requiring a regulated professional is flagged as such.

Fee

€150 — flat

Fixed price, agreed before we start.

What is not included

Nothing. The fee covers the call, the report and the follow-up. No extras, no subscription, no obligation to continue.

I sell no travel and collect nothing on behalf of third parties. Terms (in French).

First step

Twenty minutes, free, no strings

You tell me where you are, I tell you straight whether your plan holds up — and I say so when it does not.

Book a qualification call

Reply within two working days. French Polynesia is at UTC−10, so slots usually land in my morning, which is late afternoon in Europe and early evening on the US East Coast.
